New members are welcome any Tuesday, morning or evening, you do not need to book ... Just turn up by 10.45 am on a Tuesday  morning, or 7.45 pm on Tuesday  evening, and make your way to the desk inside the Club-rooms.    One of the instructors or senior members can look after your dog on the verandah ( dogs not being allowed inside) while you complete some paperwork for our records, before your Introduction /Orientation session, in which you will be allocated a class for the weeks to follow.

Wednesday evenings: 6.30- pm Agility classes starting with beginners

    Although training advice is available any other time we encourage all prospective members to complete their paperwork on that occasion, to avoid delays once classes get underway the following week. Please bring your up-to-date vaccination documents. 
All dogs must be vaccinated to C5 level
(Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo & kennel cough),
and proof of this will be required to be sighted before your dog may participate in classes.
 

Should graduation fall on a public holiday graduation will be carried over to the following week.

No classes are held in December or  January.
 
All classes recommence the first week in February each year.

  We train in most conditions, but there are some

Weather constraints

     Training will be canceled :                                          

* On any evening when the temperature at 5 PM is 35 C or over,

* On Tuesday morning if the forecast maximum temperature for that day
broadcast at 9 am
on that day is to be 32 C or over.

* Any morning or evening when heavy constant rain has been falling,
You can check by phoning the club on 8223 6626
after 10.00 am for morning classes and after 6.30 pm for evening classes.
 
Should graduation fall on any such occasion,
it will be carried over to the following week.

  NB:     S.A.O.D.C. Requires that a dog has passed Grade 5 before undertaking Agility training, as well as being a minimum of twelve months of age,
because of the jumping involved in this sport
